JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing and innovative specialty insurer seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join their Environmental Division. This dynamic company is focused on providing insurance solutions to residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with company guidelines, applying sound underwriting judgment.
Collaborate with wholesale brokers to manage and grow a profitable book of business.
Maintain strong business relationships, develop new opportunities, and retain existing accounts.
Review and assess risks, including General Liability, Pollution Liability, Business Auto, and Excess Liability for diverse risks.
Mentor and share expertise with junior underwriters.
Continuously improve knowledge through work experience, industry courses, and certifications.

Qualifications:

5+ years of current underwriting experience, preferably in environmental insurance.
Background in environmental science or related field is a plus.
