Job Summary

The Client Executive is a commercial insurance professional with extensive experience in retail brokerage. This role focuses on servicing commercial clients, retaining relationships, and supporting account growth. This position may or may not manage a book of business. The long‑term path for this role is to transition into a Producer position with responsibility for new business development and revenue generation. Salary: $130,000 - $159,000 (Los Angeles, CA).

Responsibilities

Service
  • Review client risk exposures and recommend coverage changes based on business needs and market conditions
  • Provide clear explanations of coverages, policy terms, and program structures
  • Handle endorsements, policy changes, billings, certificates, audits, and other service tasks
  • Direct Account Managers in completing service work and meeting deadlines
  • Review contracts, leases, and insurance requirements and provide recommendations to clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams
  • Keep accurate documentation and organized files
Marketing, Renewals, and Growth
  • Prepare submissions and collaborate with Producer or leadership on carrier strategy
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage with carriers
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities and support revenue growth
  • Track carrier responses and timelines to keep renewals on schedule
  • Review policies for accuracy and direct issuance of documents
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and carrier appetite
  • Support sales efforts and participate in calls with prospects
