• Investigate and adjust workers' compensation claims with high potential exposure
• Analyze coverage, determine compensability, and establish reserves
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with claimants and insureds
• Prepare large loss reports for internal and external audiences
• Collaborate with defense attorneys and other vendors, including medical case management

• Minimum of 10 - 13 years of California workers' compensation claims adjusting experience with higher exposure claims
• Active California workers' compensation adjuster's license
• Must reside in Northern California
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industry designations, such as Associate in Claims, are highly regarded

• Experience in handling complex claims and negotiating settlements
• Proficiency in working with various internal and external contacts within the insurance industry
• Knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies for claims resolution
