Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Representative to join their Louisiana team. The role focuses on handling mid-to-complex Lost Time claims throughout Louisiana. Qualified candidates must possess an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License and strong knowledge of Louisiana Workers' Compensation Law. The ideal candidate would reside in Louisiana.

$75,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr

Annual Bonus and Sign‑On Bonus

• Handle mid-to-complex Louisiana Workers' Compensation claims from inception to close.
• Maintain a pending portfolio ranging from 60 – 800 claims.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Ensure appropriate investigation of underlying facts and circumstances, retain and utilize proper experts, select and utilize counsel appropriately, and employ proper negotiation strategy.
• Provide direction to legal counsel and manage the litigation process.
• Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims.

• 3 – 7+ years of Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience.
• Must hold an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, and handle litigations and negotiations.

• $75,000 – $95,000+ annually depending on experience.
