Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is seeking talented bilingual and multilingual individuals to work as freelance interpreters. Various levels of experience and certifications are encouraged to apply. We are an interpreting, translating, and transcription language solutions provider based in San Diego, California, committed to meeting the needs of those with limited English speaking abilities. As a woman and minority‑owned small business, Hanna bridges the communications gap in medical, legal, business, government, and social services throughout California and the western US.

• You've proven competence in your area of work.
• You are a great teammate and personable with people.

• Facilitate effective communication between parties who do not speak the same language by converting spoken or written language.
• Accept or decline appointment requests via email on time.
• Exhibit professional behavior at all times.
• Demonstrate time‑management skills by arriving at all scheduled assignments on time.

As an interpreter, you will be notified of an assignment by phone or email two to five days in advance. You may accept or decline based on your schedule. Hours are not guaranteed and vary; assignments usually run 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday‑Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work. Travel will be limited to the interpreter’s county.

• Assignments are based on certification and experience; entry‑level assignments may be available.

• Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship).
• Must have a flexible schedule.
