Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in its internationally recognized corporate practice; associates with three to five years of capital markets and public securities experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates will have experience (i) representing companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity or equity‑linked transactions, with a focus on the technology, consumer/retail and life sciences sectors;

(ii) representing public companies in a wide variety of matters including corporate governance and SEC and exchange reporting and compliance; and (iii) managing client relationships and handling the day‑to‑day demands and workflow requirements of a variety of clients with sophisticated needs. Ideal candidates will have worked in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm, and will have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000–$365,000. Please note that the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
