Healthcare Attorney

Healthcare Litigation boutique seeks a bright, detail-oriented associate with 4-7 years experience to join the practice. This is a great opportunity for an associate to get in on the ground floor of a growing and exciting firm.

Managing cases/workload of 10 healthcare litigation cases to start, with intention to ramp up to max of 30 cases per associate. Cases include litigation involving regulatory compliance, reimbursement and health plans. Some wage and hour work, some auditing work, some PAGA.

• Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis‑Nexis and Westlaw.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadings.
• Attend hearings, take depositions, negotiate settlement.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Must be certified to practice law in state of CA, with at least 4 years healthcare litigation experience.

• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in legal drafting and writing.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis‑Nexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
