Antitrust Counsel

Overview

Top Am Law firm seeks a Counsel or Of Counsel attorney for its growing, nationally-recognized Antitrust and Competition practice. The role will sit in one of our California offices and requires experience in (1) antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and government enforcement actions or (2) civil antitrust litigation, including handling discovery, drafting pretrial motions, and managing complex cases.

Candidates should also have experience representing clients in state and federal court as well as enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Prior federal clerkship experience and/or a background in economics or related subjects is preferred.

• Advise and litigate in antitrust and competition matters, including government and internal investigations and government enforcement actions, or civil antitrust litigation with discovery, pretrial motions, and management of complex cases.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts and before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.

• Experience in antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and government enforcement actions, or civil antitrust litigation (discovery, pretrial motions, and complex-case management).
• Experience representing clients in state and federal court and before enforcement authorities (e.g., DOJ, FTC).
• Prior federal clerkship experience and/or background in economics or related subjects preferred.
