We are a civil litigation defense firm focused on public entities, and we are looking for a junior associate to join our growing practice.
The ideal candidate will be newly barred or have up to one year of litigation experience. Experience in handling general liability cases or employment litigation is a plus. Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, possess high-level legal research and writing skills, and maintain a positive and productive attitude.

Responsibilities:
- Case Management
- Preparation of motions, oppositions, replies, and other court pleadings
- Analysis of legal issues, exposures, and defensesli>
- Prepare/Respond to written discovery
- Assessment of damages claims
- Work as part of a team with all levels of experience
- Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association and good standing
- Proven ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards in all legal practices
