I’m recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, privately held retail company with approximately 70 locations across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. For over 60 years, this organization has grown steadily through quality, integrity, and a deep commitment to its communities. It’s now one of the largest and fastest‑growing retailers of its kind in the U.S. We’re seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee new construction, remodels, and facility improvements across the region.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who takes ownership from planning to completion, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to directly influence how projects are delivered. You’ll need to live in, or be open to relocating to, the Greater Baton Rouge area.

• Lead multiple mid‑to‑large‑scale retail and commercial projects simultaneously, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Oversee all phases of development, from initial design coordination and budgeting to final handover.
• Define project scope, schedule, and budget in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Oversee bidding and procurement, including RFP preparation and bid evaluation.
• Manage construction schedules, site logistics, safety, and compliance throughout all project phases.
• Conduct and document regular site inspections, resolving issues proactively to maintain quality and schedule integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing retail or commercial construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, project controls, and permitting processes.
• Familiarity with retail, food service, or multi‑site environments is highly desirable.
• Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office 365 tools.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with a collaborative, service‑oriented approach.
