Manager, Production

Location: California
* This role will lead a team of supervisors and individual contributors as direct report staff.
* Plan, direct, and manage all manufacturing activities to achieve company objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
* Ensure all operations adhere to FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable medical device regulations.
* Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets and schedules are met or exceeded.
* Drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 10+ years of related manufacturing operations experience and minimum of 5 years of management experience with large spans of control (20-20 direct reports).  

Experience with supervisor-level direct reports also required preferably in the medical device or regulated industry.
* Proven success in managing large-scale production teams and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost.  Automation Implementation & PCBA Testing experience desired.
* Deep understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, quality systems (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820), and Lean methodologies.
* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively across organizational boundaries.
* Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and excellence.
