Role Overview
The Senior Sales Director will lead a national team of sales professionals focused on the SMB market. This is a high-performance, “hunter” role responsible for driving predictable and profitable sales growth across the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute national sales strategies and plans
- Assign territories and targets; ensure goals are met
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline
- Mentor and motivate a team of 50+ sales professionals
- Drive new merchant acquisition and add-on revenue
- Oversee Salesforce usage and ensure data accuracy
- Deliver management reports including forecasts and productivity metrics
- Cultivate referral partnerships to generate leads
- Provide strategic guidance and remove obstacles in high-value deals
- Offer thought leadership on market and industry trends
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience
- Proven success selling merchant acquiring solutions to SMBs
- Experience leading large field sales teams
- Consistent record of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Experience building a high-performance sales culture
