Summary:

Vice President of Corporate Development & M&A — Looking for a senior commercial leader who will head the M&A team, reporting to the CCO. This role blends strategic corporate planning with hands-on M&A execution and carries P&L responsibility for transactions. While the M&A mandate will include acquisitions, the primary near-term focus is sell-side
, executing strategic asset sales to rotate capital and fund continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the monetization strategy of sell vs. hold, and timing of asset monetization for a 15GW+ development pipeline (~2.5GW near-term), identifying which projects are best sold pre-COD and which are best held and brought online.
  • Lead all aspects of M&A activity, buy-side and sell-side, including sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing transactions, as well as forming and communicating a view of M&A market dynamics.
  • Build and lead a high-performing M&A team, including developing processes and KPIs tied to commercial success.
  • Work closely with Origination, Development, and Communications to ensure project positioning aligns with market timing and investor appetite.
  • Actively canvass the market for monetization opportunities, identifying and capitalizing on value inflection points.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Commercially driven and highly proactive, a true "hunter" with strong market instincts and relentless energy when it comes to asset monetization opportunities.
  • Background in investment banking, corporate development, or strategic M&A within the energy infrastructure space.
  • Experience with utility-scale renewables and a solid understanding of development risk, particularly for pre-NTP assets. Ideally has worked for a developer.
  • Confident navigating complex transactions and communicating value propositions to both internal and external stakeholders.
