Overview
Universal Studios Hollywood is seeking a Replenishment Manager, Food Distribution to ensure all merchandise flows efficiently and accurately from the Warehouse to each venue on-time and ready for guests. This role supports all aspects of the Food Warehouse facility and supports the Area Manager, Distribution in ensuring accurate and efficient receipt and replenishment of product at the venues.
Essential functions include receiving, equipment operations, putaways, replenishment, pulling, shipping, re-pricing, inventory, safety, loss prevention, team member engagement, training, development, staff supervision and discipline. This is a unique opportunity to manage a Warehouse facility and support the overall Food Distribution at a major entertainment studio and theme park.
Responsibilities- Ownership of all SOPs across each Warehouse department.
- Ensure Warehouse processes and procedures are compliant with company, union and legal guidelines; enforce adherence to those expectations.
- Manage Warehouse inventory control levels by monitoring processes and reconciling discrepancies within WMS (Cambar/Eatec); responsible for year-end physical inventory of the facility.
- Inspect and maintain Warehouse equipment and facility; communicate repair needs or requisitions for replacement.
- Enforce Loss Prevention protocol to maintain inventory accuracy and meet shrink goals.
- Promote a culture of safety through training, audits, and partnership with Health and Safety; ensure all accident investigations are completed on-time.
- Support annual budget preparation, manage weekly schedules to budget, manage supplies expenses and monitor time punch variances with corrective action.
- Set productivity targets across Warehouse departments; monitor performance and follow up on results with the team.
- Support Warehouse team member engagement, recognition and overall satisfaction objectives.
- Develop relationships with internal Food Management, external USH Management and Orlando Supply Chain & Distribution Management.
- Produce weekly, monthly and yearly reports on labor, volume, productivity and capacity.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and capacity in collaboration with Food Sourcing, Shared Services and USH Business Analytics.
- Maintain attendance and behavior incident logs; communicate and apply corrective action as needed.
- Oversee training and development of Distribution team members, equipment operators and coordinators to support a 24/7 operation; ensure daily operational, financial and cultural responsibilities are met.
- Support receipt, replenishment, brand standards, and back-of-house cleanliness and organization at all Food venues.
- 5+ years of managerial experience in Food warehousing.
- College degree with coursework in warehousing, logistics, supply chain management, inventory, materials management, trucking transportation is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and experience in warehouse, logistics and inventory management.
- Knowledge of electric equipment, driver safety, scheduling and general maintenance; prior certification and hands-on operating experience a plus, not required.
- Understanding of Reverse Logistics, Food Safety, Space Management, Replenishment procedures and 5S methodology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Professional appearance and demeanor to represent the company image.
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization and organization skills; able to manage day-to-day work across multiple departments while leading improvement projects.
- Guest-service oriented demeanor; partner with multiple departments.
- Effective, clear and courteous communicator at all levels.
- Strong management skills to lead a large team in a 24/7 operation and meet productivity standards.
- Proven people and team-building skills to foster a positive culture with engagement and recognition initiatives.
Required On-Site:
This position must be performed full-time at an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other discounts and perks. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000.
