Project Managers | Bay Area

GREATER BAY AREA, CA | HIGH DENSITY & MULTIFAMILY HOUSING | Full Time

ZCON Builders is looking for seasoned Project Managers to join our team for Projects in the Greater Bay Area-North, East, and South Bay.

• Experience managing high-density, multi-family, podium projects ranging from $50M–$150M
• Estimation review and budget management
• Preconstruction / Manage / Oversee bid spread and leveling
• Maintain positive job margin through project completion–budget updates / change order management
• Manage project team in collaboration with project superintendent
• Heavy contract compliance
• Drive, develop and cultivate long term relationships with Client, Architects and Subcontractors
• Provide timely, transparent reporting
• Partner with Superintendent to keep project on or ahead of schedule
• Manage / Oversee the schedule with Superintendent
• Manage / Oversee creation of subcontractor scope of works with Superintendent
• Manage / Oversee billing for the job
• Manage / Oversee OAC meeting
• Manage / Oversee document management through Procore
• Manage Project Closeout

• Bachelor’s Degree in applicable discipline (Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management and / or business preferred)
• Minimum 5+ yrs. Project Management experience managing multi-family / high-density / podium / mixed-use projects ranging from $50M–$150M (Type I, TYPEIII, TYPE V)
• Ability to demonstrate effective leadership methodologies, while maintaining a professional environment
• Ability to prioritize and multitask while leading meetings, delivering reports, managing subcontracts; submittals; schedules, change orders, material procurement, logistics, as-built and closeout
• Team Leader with excellent communication skills, able to handle and resolve conflicts effectively in firm but fair manner
• A strong sense of urgency and initiative. Able to quickly study and react to complex issues.
• Possess judgement to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain of command
• Program Utilization, understanding, and experience with MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, Plan Grid, Sage, Textura and Office Suites
