As the Assistant Director Education, you will assist the Director of Education and Quality Assurance in operational support, drive company learning initiatives and meet department objectives through team management and support.
In this role, you will:- Establish, in partnership with the Director, departmental performance goals and measures to evaluate the success of assigned area of responsibility.
- Assist the Director in formulating and implementing policies and procedures.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations and lead training managers.
- Provide guidance and direction to management team and training staff.
- Lead and contribute to the development and execution of an overall RCPS learning strategy and roadmap, linked to the overarching RCPS Operational Strategy, that helps the organization and its people sustainably grow and develop for the future.
- Support and drive long‑term plans and solutions related to operational onboarding and refresher training.
- Drive the development and implementation of effective processes and mechanisms that support effective, ongoing role‑based development across the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required. Degree requirement may be substituted by current enrollment in a Bachelor Degree program or equivalent work experience with CEO approval.
- Minimum five years healthcare management experience with three of five of these years in the related area for the position.
- Relevant education may substitute experience requirement with SSC Executive approval.
- Certifications desired in training management, instructional design, etc.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) to oversee and report on training courses.
- Experience with Adobe Suite and other learning authoring tools.
- Experience with incorporating learning methodologies.
- Team development and upskilling.
- Focus on learner experience.
