Overview
BPR Consulting Group () is seeking a Permit Technician to join our growing company and serve our clients.
The successful candidate will work with the public and provide information regarding permits and building code requirements. Good people skills are mandatory and the ability to use tact and good judgement. Under general supervision, the Permit Technician will perform technical tasks, provide customer service and clerical work supporting the operations involved in permit issuance.

Desired QualificationsKnowledge of City government, procedures and operating details of building departments, building terms and codes, construction practices and materials beneficial. Experience in customer service and clerical / administrative functions desired.
Certifications / Experience- ICC Permit Technician certificate preferred
- One year of work experience as a Permit Technician in a public agency desired
- Related administrative support experience in a public sector building department, planning or public works department is a plus
- Must be computer literate

Pay Range is $24 - $36 an hour
