Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in our subcontracting trade—drywall and metal stud framing. This is a senior-level leadership role responsible for planning, directing, and delivering multiple projects while ensuring quality, profitability, and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate brings hands‑on knowledge of drywall and metal stud framing systems, a deep understanding of constructability, and a proven ability to lead both office and field teams. You will supervise Project Engineers, support Field Foremen, guide field operations, and play a key role in developing training programs that elevate team performance.

• Lead planning, organization, scheduling, and execution of multiple drywall and metal stud framing projects.
• Review, analyze, and maintain project documentation—drawings, specifications, contracts, bids, and take‑offs
• Develop and manage labor, cost, and time budgets to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with General Contractors.
• Ensure constructability excellence and consistency across all field operations.

• Supervise and mentor Project Engineers.
• Provide guidance to Field Foremen and field personnel on project requirements, methods, and technical details.
• Develop and implement training programs for field teams, focused on safety, productivity, and trade‑specific skills.

• Collaborate with estimating and pre‑construction teams in the bidding and project startup phases.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids for completeness, accuracy, and best value.
• Prepare subcontract agreements and issue purchase orders, including those associated with change orders.

• Track project performance against budget and schedule; communicate deviations quickly and professionally.
• Update internal cost tracking systems and historical databases.
• Approve subcontractor progress payments and monthly SOVs.
• Manage outstanding change orders and ensure timely collection of receivables.

• Maintain strong communication with clients, General Contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Prepare and respond to RFPs / RFIs and manage all project correspondence.
• Identify and document risks, recommend solutions, and resolve issues with minimal escalation.
• Build and maintain professional relationships to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships.

• direct experience in drywall and metal stud framing (required).
• Proven senior‑level project management experience in construction.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management.
• Strong working knowledge of drawings, constructability, and field operations specific to our trades.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, On‑Screen Takeoff / Quick Bid, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent decision‑making, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dedicated to project success.
• Ability to anticipate risks, create critical path schedules, and manage complex issues proactively.
• Reliable, punctual, and team oriented.

• Salary Range : $135,000 - $165,000 (Willing to be competitive)
