JOB DESCRIPTIONA Bay Area congressional campaign is seeking a Campaign Manager for the 2026 election cycle to manage the campaign staff and consultants through a competitive primary and general election. The campaign manager will work alongside a General Consultant and should be creative, organized, and a team player. This position is based in the Bay Area. Ideal candidates will have reliable access to a car and familiarity with California politics.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of the campaign, including directing a team of consultants and staff, and working with the General Consultant to manage the campaign budget.
- Work with the candidate’s official side staff to establish the candidate’s daily priorities and coordinate the candidate’s schedule.
- Staff the candidate during meetings, events, interviews, and travel as necessary.
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with the candidate, consultant team, and other advisors to ensure seamless communication among the campaign’s stakeholders.
- Foster a team culture of inclusivity, collaboration, teamwork, and positivity.
- At least three (3) years of experience in political campaigns, including at least one cycle as a campaign manager or in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience managing candidates, staff, and consultants.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work weekends and long hours in a fast-paced campaign environment.
- Excellent computer skills, especially Excel, Google Sheets, NGP, Act Blue, and PDI.
- Salary starts at $7,000-$8,500 per month and is commensurate with experience.
- Health insurance stipend up to $400, if needed.
