A major downtown investment manager is looking for a full-time management professional to manage a combined total of ± 400,000 sf of Class A & B office projects in the heart of San Francisco.
SUMMARYThis position is accountable for a broad range of responsibilities including property financial performance, appearance, vendor management, construction management, and tenant relations. Applicant will perform complex property management analysis, budgeting and operations decision making. Work involves managing, budgeting and coordinating property operations, maintenance, and administrative functions, as well as frequent contact with high-profile tenants. This professional will assign and supervise the work of the management team.
Work with regional supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Oversee and direct all building operations, capital and tenant improvement projects.
- Prepare and ensure compliance with annual operating budget.
- Work with Leasing Brokers and Asset Manager to help understand the tenant improvement costs and scope associated with an active deal.
- Coordinate with Leasing Brokers and Asset Manager to determine the best strategy for marketing vacant space.
- Ensure all reporting documents are accurate and complete.
- Review and approve invoices for accounts payable.
- Review and approve all escalation estimates and reconciliations as prepared by the Property Accountant.
- Maintain productive working relationships with tenant decision-makers and primary points of contact.
- Conduct building inspections to verify life safety and risk management.
- Create a positive perception of the building and Ownership within the real estate and business communities.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
REQUIRED
- A minimum of 10+ years' experience in commercial property management.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent customer service, strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization and communications skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of emergency preparedness plans a plus.
- Strong computer knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Working knowledge of MRI and YARDI software systems.
- Real Estate License a plus but not required.
