Trauma Service Education Coord

Position Details

• Requires collaboration with Trauma Program Manager to facilitate, monitor and coordinate trauma-related educational and outreach endeavors.

• Assist in achieving quality patient-focused care by coordinating educational elements to ensure an organized multidisciplinary team approach to quality care of the trauma patient.
• Facilitate compliance with State of Missouri trauma center regulations regarding trauma related education and prevention activities.
• Major duties and responsibilities are defined by the Nurse Practice Act and the Trauma Program Manager.

• Education:
  
  BSN required, MS preferred.
• Licensure: RN license in State of MO.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years experience in trauma nursing and staff education required.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and TNCC required, other certifications as determined by department.
• Other:
  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

• Education:
  
  Masters degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Preferred experience not specified.
• Certifications:
  
  Trauma certification preferred. ACLS preferred. CEN or CCRN preferred.
• Other:
  Preferred other not specified.
