Material Logistics Agent

Overview

Material Logistics Agent s role supports the Operations Challenger & Global Montreal division, within the Changement Management Logistics department, reporting to the Leader, Material Logistics. The position focuses on ensuring timely availability of parts and materials, addressing shortages, coordinating with supply and manufacturing teams, and driving process improvements.

• Ensure respect of production timelines, and, if necessary, elaborate catch-up plans with all stakeholders.
• Ensure that the required parts and materials are present on time on the assembly line.
• Communicate information on shortages and work closely with the supply logistics team and manufacturing team.
• Interact with various multi-disciplinary teams (Logistics-Supply, Methods, Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality).
• Participate in improvement projects (Achieving Excellence System, 5S, lean manufacturing, cost reduction, improved manufacturing, etc.).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering, Operations & Logistics Management, or College Diploma with equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated interest in planning, work coordination, continuous improvement and value-added production.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• Proficient with the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with the SAP ERP system (major asset).
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in the field of logistics.
