Responsibilities
- Make visual/measured inspection/tests of materials/products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.
- Complete inspection records and reports and follow appropriate codes and regulations.
- Make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements for manufacturing.
- May inspect incoming raw materials for the manufacturing process and follow appropriate procedures for testing raw materials.
- 1 year of related barge manufacturing Fit or Weld experience preferred.
- Computer skills and basic understanding of MS Office products.
- Proficient in the use of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
- Understand and apply inspection methods and techniques.
- Previous experience with coating techniques and/or inspection preferred.
- Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment is beneficial.
- Previous experience in Fab Shop process is a plus.
