Distribution Specialist

Summary

AFB International – Where We Make Pet Food Taste Great! We’ve been providing pet food solutions for over 30 years, designing palatants that enhance taste and nutrition. We’re looking for a dedicated team member to support our warehouse operations.

Hourly: $21.00 per hour.

• Shipping of finished goods, receiving raw materials, coordination of material transfers.
• Sampling of incoming products and coordinating activities with truck drivers.
• Assuring all outgoing finished goods are in top physical condition.
• Daily inventory as needed by purchasing or management.
• Sanitation of warehouse and other areas, including Critical Control Points as requested by supervisor.
• Macro entry of purchase orders, receiving of incoming materials and all outbound shipping documents.
• Attention to detail and accuracy of paperwork, including item identification, physical count, and certificate of analysis.
• Monitoring equipment and reporting problems to maintenance by correctly filling out forms and submitting work orders.
• Performing other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Studying and signing off on HACCP training in accordance with plant food safety requirements.
• Cleaning and maintaining work area in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
