This is a full-time hourly (non-union) position with growth potential at a soybean processing and biodiesel production facility. Work is on rotating shifts with the possibility of overtime. Rotating Shift

Schedule:

12 hour shifts 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am. Rate of pay: $21.93. Full benefits package starts Day 1.

Responsibilities
  • Control and continuous optimization of the processes.
  • Light lab analysis; collecting product samples per control lab instructions and delivering to the lab.
  • Review analytical results on TLC to support the determination of process adjustments.
  • Monitor and document operating parameters; make adjustments to processes to maintain quality products; monitor bean flow, test and sample flakes.
  • Grease machines and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Raw material handling; startup and shutdown of equipment and processes per standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain an organized, dust-free, oil-free work environment through housekeeping.
  • Perform key operations of product manufacturing; conform to safety and quality assurance standards; troubleshoot tasks.
Other Responsibilities
  • Be able to lift filter leaves to be changed and/or cleaned.
  • Work with another Operator to cover the responsibilities of all processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistency across shift changes.
  • Keep the Supervisor updated on process changes and issues.
  • Work safely and report safety concerns; maintain compliance with plant safety rules.
  • Exercise environmental stewardship and document environmental controls.
  • Notify the Immediate Supervisor of injuries, incidents, and safety issues.
  • Be available for overtime to cover absenteeism, vacations, special projects, startup, and additional housekeeping.
  • Maintain a professional disposition; be confident and courteous with ADM employees.
  • Generate accurate reports, logs, and records; maintain good attendance and punctuality.
  • Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, self-motivation, and organizational skills.
  • Meet physical requirements: stand/walk for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work in confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic with common units and measurement concepts relevant to the role.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Failure to meet requirements may disqualify the candidate.
  • ADM requires successful completion of a background check.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education:

    High School/GED.

Compensation
  • Base pay:
    19.03 per hour.
  • Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees accrue overtime pay for qualifying overtime hours.
  • Position is at-will; company reserves the right to modify base pay and compensation programs.
