TitleProduction Raw Team Member
Reports ToProduction Supervisor
SummaryThe Production Raw team member prepares raw product for cooking according to company standards. Their duties include trimming, seasoning, and racking product as required to meet product schedule requirements.
Essential Functions- Trim and cut meat to the required specifications.
- Season raw meat with the appropriate spices and marinades.
- Rack products for proper storage and transport.
- Follow the meat product schedule to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain proper product rotation to ensure freshness.
- Understand HACCP Plans.
- Understand all policies and procedures to ensure food safety.
- Keep your work area clean.
- Accurate records must be maintained on all raw products, document weight, batch number, and seasonings on Raw Sheet.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Class B Driver's License preferred but not required (More Pay if qualified).
- Experience in a production environment preferred but not mandatory.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Follow instructions carefully.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Be self‑motivated and take initiative.
- Operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self‑confidence.
- Exhibit proper manners and language.
Physical Requirements
- Work in a manufacturing environment that can be noisy and require working with loud machinery.
- Wear hair nets, gloves and aprons for food safety.
- Work in a slippery, cold, wet, refrigerated, or humid environment with average temperature 50lbs.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and follow recipes and instructions.
- Follow best in class manufacturing practices.
- No piercings or jewelry allowed on manufacturing floor.
- Follow safety processes and protocols at all times.
- Follow ergonomics and lifting practices.
- Report any injury to management immediately.
- Wear dedicated non‑slip shoes at all times in plant.
- Complete all Safety Training within deadline.
- Follow Lock Out Tag Out processes at all times.
- Wear provided GMPs and PPE before entering production floor (cut gloves, safety glasses, hairnet, beard nets, gloves, smocks).
- Wearing correct color‑coded smocks in the identified area of plant:
Blue – RAW Only, White – General Production Floor.
