The Organizational Employment Program provides full support for people with varying levels of abilities. A team of Employment Support Specialists works to accommodate each individual’s needs. Through regular training and assessment, we ensure the highest level of success for every person we serve. Employees work directly for BCI at one of our packaging facilities, where we provide contract packaging and light manufacturing services to customers across the country.

BCI operates two packaging production facilities in Missouri. The organizational headquarters in St. Peters has 60,000 sq. ft. of production space, warehouse and offices, and 19 production lines. The building includes Andrew’s Clubhouse and Andrew’s Outfield, indoor and outdoor Cardinals-themed spaces funded by Andrew’s Hugs.
The Moscow Mills facility has 23,000 sq. ft. of production floor and warehouse space with 5 production lines. This facility is smaller and complies with Safe Quality Food regulations.
Both facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art features to help keep employees safe. They also host workplace activities to celebrate holidays and events. Employees are recognized for achievements through monthly and annual awards and opportunities for advancement. The program is accredited by CARF International, ensuring service quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES- Unpacking and repacking to customer specifications
- Assembling raw materials into finished goods
- Gathering items into a kit
- Sending boxes or bags through machinery
- Palletizing and labeling
Under the Organizational Employment Program, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have a documented disability. Other minimum criteria include:
- 18 years or older
- Documented disability used for certification through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
- Independent in self-care needs (toileting, mobility, etc.), including self-administration of medications
- Able to work at least 20% of the established productivity rate in repetitive motion packaging and assembly
- Capable of following safety measures and incident-free of aggressive behaviors
- Desire to participate in a learning work environment with supports
