Company Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator to join our wood shop team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in woodworking, with a primary focus on operating CNC routers. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high‑quality wood products according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC routers to produce wood components as per design specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Use appropriate tools such as a table saw, miter saw, shaper, planner, and finishing tools as needed.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a CNC Woodworking Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in programming CNC routers using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Master
CAM, AutoCAD, Solid Works). - Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in woodworking is a plus.
- Spanish communication highly desired.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Walk or stand for long periods of time.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Hiring Pay Range
18.50 USD - 28.00 USD per hour
