• Set up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment to produce a good quality product. Machines may include punch press, straightener, feed machine, press brake, furnace, crane, forklift, conveyor, cutting torch, and other departmental equipment.
• Inspect, gauge, count, heat, blank, perforate, shear, form, sort and stack.
• Read and interpret drawings and routing sheets; use calipers, gauges, measuring devices; perform SPC as required.
• Perform visual inspections, separate parts, record production and scrap, maintain required production records, and perform other operations as required.
• Maintain machines, equipment and the work area in a clean and orderly manner.

• Ability to sit or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
• Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
• Ability to work on a platform.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs with a partner and continuously handle it for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to load up to 80 lbs with the help of another person onto a die cart and transport it.
• Ability to push and/or pull 415 lbs a distance of 2 feet.
• These physical requirements are general; work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
