Electrical Assembler III role at Marvin Engineering Company.

Location:

Inglewood, CA, US. Full-time onsite. Pay range: $25.00 - $31.25 per hour. The Marvin Group is a strategic partner for Global Alternate Mission Equipment and Sustainment.

• Setup and operate equipment, tools and fixtures to fabricate and assemble electrical assemblies (calibrated hand tools, torque wrenches, crimping tools, calipers, scales).
• Set up and perform manual and computer-controlled operations for assembly and testing (as required).
• Read and follow planning instructions and assembly drawings.
• Protect product from Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) damage by following policies and procedures.
• Hi-REL soldering certification, specifications and procedures.
• Learn, participate in, and apply various trainings to daily work.
• Verify components, consumables, equipment and calibration are within tolerance/expiration before use.
• Apply Lean and 6S methodologies to maintain an efficient work area.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience plus experience in 4 programs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
• IPC-610 Certification:
  The Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
• IPC-620 Certification:
  Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies or equivalent.
• J-STD-001 Certification:
  Soldered Electrical & Electronic Assemblies (for solder role).
• Ability to perform moderate, demanding, physical and repetitious work.
• Problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Fluency in English (read/write/speak).
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Work environment includes manufacturing and/or machining settings with moderate to high activity and use of PPE.
