Packaging Operator Swing and Night shifts

Packaging Operator position with Day, Swing and Night shifts available. NEWLY UPDATED PAY: $20.50 per hour. This role is part of a facility undergoing major transformation, offering growth opportunities and potential promotions.

Shifts include 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, and 3rd Shift, with overtime on weekends as needed.

• 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm (Mondays often start earlier to help with production startup)
• 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm (Shift differential available)
• 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am (Shift differential available)

• Operate packaging machines (setup, operation, basic troubleshooting)
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
• Inspect finished product and make adjustments when necessary (quality control)
• Report equipment issues promptly and help find solutions
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and deadlines
• Be open to training on different machines and processes
• Work overtime or weekends as needed per business needs

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Experience:
  
  Manufacturing/production environment experience preferred but not required
• Experience with packaging machinery is a plus
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  operate packaging machines, machine setup, operation, basic troubleshooting
• Safety: knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Physical Requirements:
  
  stand for long periods; lift, push, or pull heavy objects (typically 30-50 lbs); comfortable with a fast-paced environment
• Attention to Detail: strong focus on quality control; inspect finished product and make adjustments as necessary
• Communication & Teamwork: effective communication with team members and supervisors; collaborate to meet production goals and deadlines
• Problem-Solving: basic troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions or production issues; report issues promptly
• Flexibility & Willingness to Learn: open to training on different machines and processes; willing to work overtime or weekends as needed
