AboutThe Role
As a Machine Operator – Gummy, you will be responsible for gathering and weighing the necessary ingredients and materials and for efficiently operating production equipment to execute standard process methods and produce quality products for the Gummy Production Department.
How Will You Contribute- Support and assist setup activities of the manufacturing process.
- Assist in cooking, dosing, depositing, and post‑processing of bulk gummy products.
- Ensure all documentation—including batch records, logbooks, and other batch‑related documentation—has been completed on time and accurately.
- Feed and maintain raw ingredients into hoppers, mix tanks, or other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform pre‑weighing, batching, curing, and bulk packaging of the manufactured product.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping organization.
- Follow established department SOPs and cGMP regulations.
- Adhere to and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Report any safety concerns to management.
- Maintain a safe work environment and operate in a safe manner.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate.
- Minimum 6‑month experience in a fast‑paced GMP/FDA‑regulated environment or a relatable industry.
- Any combination of experience, education, and training that provides the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
- Noise level is typically low to moderate; some work areas require hearing protection for an 8‑hour work day.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during the work shift.
- Routinely required to stoop, bend, kneel, lift, reach, pull, push, and tilt objects in the performance of work functions.
- Work environment may involve exposure to allergens such as soy, wheat, fish, shellfish, milk, egg, tree nuts, and sesame.
Alternate 4 x 10/2 & 3 x 10/2 – Alternating workweeks of four (4) and three (3) 12‑hour days, where ten (10) hours are paid at straight time and two (2) hours are paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
