JOB SUMMARY

The Production Manageris responsible for building production schedules, ensuring production processes stay within budgets andmeetdeadlinesand reviewing the productivity of all manufacturing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities also include keepingaccuratematerial inventories, making supplyordersand effectively leading team members in the production effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensureall safety and health standards are met tomaintainan accident-free workplace

• Develop workplace policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising quality or workplace safety

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield, labor efficiency, scrap, and downtime

• Implement and sustain Lean manufacturing practices, 5S, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Manage labor planning, overtime, and resource allocation tooptimizeproductivity

• Set productivity goals for each manufacturing operationcollaborating with supply chain, maintenance,quality and engineering

• Continuously evaluateresources and equipment to minimize downtime and increase production

• Motivate, guideand support production staff

• Communicateregularly with upper management to resolve issuesimpactingproduction

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field preferred

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in production environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven record of effectively training and managingemployees in the areas of safety and production

• Working knowledge of EPA and OSHA regulations

• Experience working in anISO 9001certified facilitypreferred, ISO 9001 Auditor certification a plus

• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma training and certifications strongly preferred

WORK CONDITIONS

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending,kneelingand climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
