Cover Finishing - Operator II - 1st Shift

Overview

Job Summary:

As a Covers Finishing - Operator II, you may be asked to operate the laminator, namestamp, silk screen, and UV coater machines. You will read and follow instructions from assigned job tickets to produce a quality product in an efficient and timely manner.

• Read and follow instructions from job ticket.
• Meet quality specifications and productivity requirements.
• Responsible for the operation of assigned machinery.
• Clean and maintain workspace and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Set up and run all specified machines, as assigned.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to remain organized and self-directed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to interface with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

• Required to sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Required to complete and obtain pallet jack training through Walsworth.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or use controls, tools or equipment.
• May require the ability to use a keyboard and other office equipment.
• May require specific vision abilities that include close vision.
• May be required to perform concentrated work for extended periods of time.
• May be required to lift, carry or exert items or objects of reasonable weight.
• May be required to perform duties beyond standard business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Covers Finishing preferred.
