Position

Position Title:

Production

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

6:00am-2:30pm

Chesterfield, MO

QPS Employment Group has a great Production position available at a company in Chesterfield, MO.

Responsibilities
  • Places the correct scoops in product packaging based on the products being produced.
  • Places empty packaging on the production line to be filled.
  • Packs completed products into boxes for distribution.
  • Performs quality control checks in products going through the production line.
  • Ensures proper disposal of damaged materials and other items.
  • Weighs individual empty or filled packaging that is rejected by the check weigher.
  • Maintains the appropriate level of stock materials needed to perform the tasks assigned.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
  • Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
  • Wears required safety equipment, PPE, and company issued uniform.
  • Responsible for following all of the company SOP's, GMP's and general safety standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. throughout the workday.
  • High School Diploma/GED and/or
  • One (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.
  • Must be conscientious about the accuracy and thoroughness of the position.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems, resolve problems and issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Flexible and willing to perform varying tasks, following directions and company guidelines.
  • Complete in-house training of general safety, GMP's, and SOPs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to use and operate light industrial machinery.
  • Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
