What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 40 manufacturing employees, supported by multiple team leads, performing technical manufacturing work.
  • Assign daily work, coordinate staffing, and manage workflow to meet production requirements.
  • Oversee electronics assembly, wiring, testing, blending, and related production activities.
  • Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and production schedules and address issues as they arise.
  • Provide technical direction and support for electrical, electronic, testing, equipment, and process issues.
  • Ensure employees follow work instructions, engineering requirements, testing procedures, and quality standards.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and other teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Support employee training, cross-training, qualification, performance management, and continuous improvement.
  • Use production and ERP/MRP information to monitor performance, identify trends, and make practical decisions.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
What We're Looking For

Required or strongly preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, electronics, electrical, assembly, testing, controls, blending, or a related technical production environment.
  • Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, work instructions, or similar technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technically skilled employees and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems is a plus.
