Brand Marketing Specialist – Los Angeles

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in Los Angeles.
In this role, you will work directly with leading K-Beauty brands
, manage product launches, ensure compliance, support retail execution, analyze market performance, and help shape how Korean beauty brands expand in the North American market. This position requires a strategic thinker who understands market dynamics, follows beauty trends closely, and can build well-structured GTM strategies.
- Serve as the main liaison with K-Beauty brand partners in Korea.
- Communicate product information, marketing assets, timelines, and pricing.
- Adapt working hours as needed to coordinate with Korea time zone.
- Create launch calendars, SKU plans, and positioning strategies.
- Prepare product highlights, competitive advantages, and retail selling points.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for a smooth GTM execution.
- Maintain consistent brand visual identity across all channels.
- Support POP materials, display design, color charts, and retail fixtures.
- Participate in offline activations and retail merchandising support.
- Analyze GMV, sell-through, inventory trends, customer behavior, and product performance.
- Provide monthly data-driven insights and optimization recommendations.
- Identify growth opportunities based on performance metrics.
- Track competitor launches, promotions, pricing, and market activity.
- Deliver actionable competitive insights.
- Provide content direction to the social team based on brand goals and market trends.
- Support Tik Tok/Instagram campaign planning
- Assist sales with launch presentations, training materials, and buyer decks.
- Help build quarterly product assortment plans and promotional strategies.
- A genuine passion for beauty — especially K-Beauty
- Strong data analysis skills (Ability to interpret GMV, sell-through, replenishment trends, pricing analysis, and market insights)
- 5+ years of experience in beauty / brand management / marketing
- Strong understanding of product launch processes, compliance basics, and documentation
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to work flexible hours for Korea communication
- Willingness to travel for shows, brand visits, and retail support
- Work closely with top K-Beauty brands
- Exposure to Tik Tok Shop, Ulta Beauty, etc
- Creative, and passionate beauty team
- Fast growth opportunities and real ownership
- Opportunities to attend global beauty events (Cosmoprof, K-Beauty Expo)
