Position: Marketing Specialist for Enrollment
Location: California

Compensation for this position is expected to range between $24.04 and $26.44 per hour
, in alignment with what California Baptist University (CBU) reasonably anticipates paying for this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. Position Summary Information Summary

The position delivers marketing services that support California Baptist University (CBU) enrollment initiatives. Responsibilities include managing accounts and coordinating advertising across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, online, print, broadcast, as well as indoor/outdoor signage, displays, and promotional materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support supervisors and admissions directors in the planning, development, and execution of enrollment marketing and communication projects, campaigns, and systems.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high standards of quality, adherence to university guidelines, and a collaborative, positive attitude.
  • Meet established deadlines and proactively notify the supervisor if timelines are at risk.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and marketing automation tools to maintain and update marketing campaigns.
  • Design and update digital assets for email communications and web content.
  • Develop engaging content for various marketing materials and platforms.
  • Oversee promotional product inventory to ensure availability and proper usage.
  • Stay informed on current marketing trends and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to fulfill marketing and communication needs.
  • Participate in discovery meetings with clients to define project scope and objectives.
  • Collaborate with university stakeholders on concurrent projects to ensure alignment and success.
  • Create innovative promotions and events aimed at increasing brand awareness and enrollment.
  • Demonstrate the division’s commitment to service, excellence, humility, and dignity in all interactions with internal clients and external partners.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires regular standing, walking, and sitting, along with sufficient hand and finger dexterity to operate computers and office equipment. The role may occasionally involve lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds and light physical activity, including brief periods of standing or walking.
