Job Type
- PART TIME
- Weekends as assigned (per necessity of events/projects)
- Manage event operations, systems, scheduling, and volunteers for special events and conferences at Houses of Light Church
- Sit in the core team meetings, taking notes on action points as well as areas that need follow-up
- Check in with ministry leaders to assure they have everything they need to finish their projects in a timely manner
- Send out reminders, plan, and coordinate core team and staff meetings for ministry leaders and full-time church staff
- Bring feedback and insight to help streamline events and ongoing projects, so they are more effective and remain aligned to our mission/vision as a church
- Work with senior and executive pastors to care for ministry leaders and ensure the effectiveness of their tasks.
Qualification
- 2 years assisting to Houses of Light
- Maintain flexibility and create efficient new processes and strategies
- Passionate about taking a huge vision and turning it into reality through strategic execution
- Highly relational-you recognize the value of working with and through others
- Have experience with event planning, budgeting, project management, and related organizational skills
- Able to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems
- You’re excited to work in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere where everyone takes the mission very seriously, but no one takes themselves too seriously
- You’ve learned that simple is always better, but it isn’t always easy
- You believe a smile is always the first line of defense
