$74,000.00/yr - $82,000.00/yr

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, the Manager of Corporate Relations is responsible for designing and implementing strategic fundraising initiatives to secure corporate support that meets or exceeds budget goals while advancing the mission of the organization. This role focuses on cultivating leadership and major gifts from corporate partners, with an emphasis on building multi-faceted, sustainable relationships that align corporate goals with organizational priorities.

The Manager will identify, engage, and steward corporate prospects, managing strategies to secure new, renewed, and increased support through sponsor ships, employee engagement, and in-kind contributions. Additionally, the Manager will oversee corporate participation in key events and initiatives, ensuring partnerships deliver measurable impact and value. This role may also supervise one or more staff members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships
  • Manage a portfolio of 50 plus corporate prospects, prioritizing personalized cultivation, solicitation, and active prospect management.
  • Identify and engage new corporate partners, building a robust prospect pipeline.
  • Create a strategy to reengage lapsed corporate partners with GSGLA’s mission and programs.
  • Pursue new funding opportunities that align with corporate philanthropy goals based on GSGLA’s programmatic needs to drive increased financial commitments and long-term relationships.
  • Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan to elevate GSGLA's visibility among Los Angeles-based corporations.
  • Cultivate strong, productive relationships through timely, personalized communication, including regular in-person meetings, with portfolio prospects.
  • Partner with Director of Philanthropy to create compelling partnership packages and pitch materials, including proposals, letters, sponsorship levels, and stewardship reports, to secure new corporate partnerships and renewals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications, Mission Delivery, and cross-functional teams to deliver creative, high-impact corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Leverage the Board of Directors networks to identify and activate corporate connections.
  • Secure innovative, budget-relieving in-kind support.
  • Partner with internal teams to synthesize data and effectively communicate program impact in proposals and reports.
  • Maintain a strategic balance of cultivation, solicitation, engagement, and stewardship to advance donor relationships.
  • Attend networking events across the Greater Los Angeles region to actively identify and cultivate corporate donor prospects and relationships.

  • Manage a targeted portfolio of corporate prospects to achieve event sponsorship revenue goals.
