Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Education Coordinator to join our Family Birth Center department.

• Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate the achievement of learning goals.
• Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
• Keeps records of educational activities and prepares reports.
• Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patients’ age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the department’s Scope of Service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• RN required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
