River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).

River Oaks Hospital is looking for a dynamic Registered Nurse Supervisor- PRN! Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the House Supervisor provides direct supervision campus-wide to all staff on a given shift.

Provides physical assessments of residents, implements resident's treatment plan, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, administers medications as prescribed and provides health care education for residents and families. Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; current licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Nurses. BSN Preferred.
• Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English. Selected skills/credentials as defined by the department’s scope of services.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related inpatient setting preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisor experience required.
