Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner Specialty Care (Dual Post)
The Department of Surgery is seeking a qualified and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our expanding Division of Vascular Surgery. This position works collaboratively with vascular surgery attendings who provide coverage at the University of Missouri Hospital, Clinics, and Capital Region Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional vascular care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Manage inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including pre‑ and post‑operative care
- Conduct independent clinics with autonomy and clinical decision‑making
- Participate in care coordination, patient education, and follow‑up
- Be part of a growing and innovative division within a leading academic medical center
- Work in a supportive, team‑oriented environment

Monday through Friday. No office/administrative hours; position will not have office/admin hours. No flexibility for alternative schedules.
Minimum Qualifications- Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi‑state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
- Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Missouri
- Certification by an accredited NP program
- Experience in vascular surgery or a related surgical specialty
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
