The Nurse RN/LPN responsible for the operation of the Medication Clinic and providing nursing coverage to accommodate the regions practitioner schedules. Functions as a Case Manager for consumers served by the medication clinic. Part-time, day position at our Columbia behavioral health outpatient clinic. Every Tues/Thurs, rotating Monday/Wednesdays. 24 hours weekly.

• Plan, organize and coordinate medication clinic
• Prepares for minimal to frequent schedule changes and travels to neighboring clinics for nursing coverage and training
• Review medication education sheets with client
• Function as case manager for consumers needing medication refills
• Complete necessary documentation regarding medication clinic and psychiatric consultation for consumer records
• Administer IM medication, dispense sample medications, maintain accurate logs on all medications received and dispensed
• Work to help complete prior authorizations
• Maintain list of injections, coordinate ordering and delivery, verify orders are current, and discuss any side effects
• Take vital signs and coordinate prediabetes screening process
• Broad knowledge and experience with computers
• Other duties as assigned

• Regular exposure to blood and/or body fluids
• Regular exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials

• High School/GED degree required
• Associate/Bachelors degree in nursing preferred

• GPN, LPN, GN or RN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
