Base pay range

$30.00/hr – $47.28/hr

Overview

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. The facility offers a state‑of‑the‑art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multi‑room surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square‑foot medical office building accommodates primary care physicians and visiting specialists from the St.

Louis area.

The hospital operates four rural health clinics and comprehensive therapy, rehabilitation, and wound care services, including two hyperbaric chambers. The Medical/Surgical Department is a 34‑bed general medical, surgical and telemetry unit that provides comprehensive biopsychosocial nursing to patients requiring general medical, pre‑ and post‑operative care, urology, cardiac, and pediatric care.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educates patients and families on post‑treatment home care and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient or caregiver.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
  • Ensures continual alertness and safety in a safety‑sensitive position.
Minimum Requirements Education
  • Nursing diploma or associate’s degree.
Experience

Supervisor Experience
  • No prior supervisor experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Preferred Requirements Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
