General Function
Administer anesthetic agents under the supervision and direction of the Anesthesiologist within the ASA Guidelines for Ethical Practice of Anesthesiology and Policies and Procedures of WCCH.

Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program that meets the standards of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs, or of such other accreditation organization as may be designated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid. Certified as a nurse anesthetist by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in the State of Louisiana by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
ExperienceRequirements
Experience preferred.
Skills/AbilitiesACLS-Certification.
