Charge Nurse (RN) Part-Time | St. Luke's Rehab

Job Overview: The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates the delivery of nursing care. Working in collaboration with medical, ancillary, and support staff, the Charge Nurse upholds standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting and serves as a clinical and leadership resource.

• Coordinate nursing care delivery in alignment with hospital protocols.
• Act as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the nursing staff.
• Collaborate with medical, ancillary, and support staff to maintain standards of nursing practice.

• RN License in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification (preferred initially; required after 90 days, and required from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU).

• One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Preferred: prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
• Preferred: higher comfort level working with ventilators, tracheostomy tubes, PICC lines, etc.
• Preferred: at least 2 years of direct patient care experience.
