Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a full-time, onsite school-based assignment near the Avocado Heights, CA area. This role is ideal for LVNs seeking consistent hours in an educational environment, supporting students across multiple campuses.

Start Date: January 12, 2026
End Date: June 5, 2026
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Setting: Onsite Only
Pay Rate: TBD (Based on Experience)
Number of Positions: 1

• Providing nursing support across multiple school sites ranging from elementary to high school
• Primary responsibilities include diabetes management, nutrition monitoring, and basic first-aid response
• Training will be provided through the district to ensure site-specific procedures are followed
• Role falls under supervision from the assigned school-site nurse
• Assignment needs may vary based on changing student medical needs, so flexibility is required

• Implement and follow individual student health plans and medication administration procedures
• Provide diabetes support including blood glucose monitoring, insulin assistance, and documentation
• Deliver routine health support including first aid, vitals, illness monitoring, and emergency response
• Communicate promptly with school nursing supervisors and staff regarding medical needs or concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and licensing standards
• Support health education initiatives and promote student safety and wellness on campus
• Respond to urgent medical needs and coordinate appropriate follow-up care

• Active California LVN License in good standing
• Active CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric environments preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must be able to pass district fingerprinting/background clearances prior to start
