Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position on night shifts requiring a MO or compact license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care setting on a 10-bed LDRP unit with a Level II Nursery and one operating suite
- Night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Required to work every other weekend
- Cares for laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns including Level II nursery patients
- Unit averages 50-65 deliveries per month
- Uses the MEDITECH EMR system
- RNs are cross-trained for Labor and Delivery, Couplet Care, Newborn Nursery, and circulating for C-sections
- Scrub color is OR green, provided by the hospital with changing locker rooms available
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent L&D experience
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and NIHSS required
- Experience with couplet care, newborn nursery, and C-section circulation required
