About the Role:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Aspire Senior Living Platte City, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to our residents. Your Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties will include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting resident vital signs and medical conditions
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care
- Provide high-quality care to our residents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve resident outcomes
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA and facility policies
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing or related field setting preferred
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed
